ΚΕΔΥ (Municipality of Hydra) participates and implements the 3 Doors 3 Countries program funded by the Goethe Institut within the Academy of Cultural Management.
The program will be completed in June 2018.
The three Balkan cities that participate (from Romania, Bulgaria and Greece) share common features of rich cultural tradition, particular traditional architecture and their geographical location as small provincial cities.
In this context, the philosophy of the program proposes three actions with a common theme, adapted to the needs and the environment of each city.
• Doors in the past: an effort to map and discover the history of the city's cultural heritage.
• Doors in the future: new uses to traditional buildings which remain inactive.
• Doors to the "other": through the organization of a photo contest about the perception of our Balkan neighbors.
The best photo will be the poster of the one-day Conference that will be held in Hydra in June during the Miaouleia Festival and where besides the presentation of the work of the program, issues such as the design of cultural activities in places with a rich cultural background such as Hydra will be highlighted.
Program administrators for Greece, are: Gouderi Agathi, Dilaveri Stamatina, Rapti Androniki, Sagia Alexandra
